Riyadh Competition

We were commissioned to visualize BM Architects’ competition project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on a site set at the edge of a plateau where the city skyline meets the desert.

The core challenge is climate and exposure: midday heat, glare, and dry winds. Our aim was to show a place that stays comfortable and easy to read in real conditions.

We arranged a clear visual sequence through viewpoint and light. An aerial explains the plateau and its connection to the city. Ground-level views beneath the canopies convey shade and scale. Together, light and shadow act as wayfinding, and the project feels like an oasis at the boundary between city and desert.
